Adesso’s CyberPad A4 is not the iPad by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly is useful. I’m guessing the audience for this device is students or anyone else who has to take notes frantically in the classroom. I have found that a laptop or netbook is useless for taking notes when the teacher is drawing shapes and equations on the blackboard that will be on the test later. Despite our technology, Pen and Paper is still...

One of the problems with having a car is when you lose the key and you can’t find the spare. If only you could find a friend who has the Electronic Key Impressioner. All you need to do is stick that key-shaped end into a lock, and it can scan a lock from the inside and record what it sees. From there, it is as easy as taking it back to the computer and plugging it into the computer via USB port. This gives a code that can be used in a...

Instead of irritating others in a room by drumming an imaginary solo on the table with your fingers, why not use the Drum Kit Keychain instead? After all, it carries half a dozen playable drums with their own distinctive sound, making a whole lot more palatable and authentic to those around you. It would be nice if the device came with some sort of recording facility in order to record down all your thumb-tapping solos in their full glory to...

Golf is a game where you often fight against yourself first before checking out your score with others. After all, there is nothing quite as satisfying as getting all those shots in with one nice, clean whack each time, but there are off days for some of us where nothing seems to go wrong even after following hundreds of dollars’ worth of advice from books and DVDs. Well, just like many other things in life, practice makes perfect, so...

We’ve all heard that we need to unplug our electronics entirely instead of just turning them off.  That way all of those small lights on your devices are completely off as well.  Of course even knowing that information, sometimes you just forget.  Then on top of it that means later on you have plugs lying on the floor to plug back into the wall.  Instead of that mess you could use one of these that makes it so that the outlet itself...

I had a chance to visit iGo’s meeting room at CES last week, and they promised me a product that could help me get rid of the “Vampire Power”. Even though I’m not a Twilight fan, they had me at the word Vampire. iGo explained to me that devices that are turned off and plugged into the wall still consume power. This is the Vampire Power that they were talking about, and devices like this Power Smart Wall will cause me...
